Sidharth Malhotra on ‘Raees’ train tragedy

BizAsiaLive.com reported yesterday that Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Raees’ by rail train promotions took a turn for the worse in Gujarat when a man died during the ruckus. Sidharth Malhotra has given a reaction to the news.

Malhotra was talking at a recent event and said, “It depends where you are travelling if you are travelling to a place where people know you then one can’t do much activities or anything that openly. It’s very unfortunate. It’s very sad. I don’t know the exact details so I can’t say much”.

He said that actors are doing their jobs when embarking on promotional trails, “I think all of us have the intention to promote our films. We have been marketing films, going out to promote, it’s a norm. I was not there to experience and to see what happened (but) I read about it. It’s a very sad and unfortunate. It’s an accident and no one has done it intentionally”.

‘Raees’ released today starring Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Mahira Khan.
