Sidharth Malhotra on ‘Ittefaq’ remake

Sidharth Malhotra and Sonakshi Sinha are all set to share screen space for the first time in the ‘Ittefaq’ (1969) remake. Malhotra has opened up about the film saying the story has changed.

“It’s not exactly the same. The premise will be different although the gist is the same. It is still about one night but we have modified the script. Otherwise everyone knows what it’s all about and there would be no fun. All the characters here are motivated differently,” said Malhotra, according to DNA.

Malhotra also said that the film will be shorter than your average Bollywood film, “It will be a very short, quick film. We want to make it in a very thrilling manner — in two hours or maybe less than that if we can. That’s our plan”.

The film is being produced jointly by BR Films, Dharma Productions and Red Chillies Entertainment.
