Sidharth Malhotra no longer in Anurag Basu’s next?

Anurag Basu’s next was apparently meant to have Sidharth Malhotra share the screen with Taapsee Pannu. However, it seems Malhotra has opted out of the film.

“Sid is not a part of the project anymore. He was supposed to be paired opposite Taapsee Pannu and theirs was a funny love story. But now, the filmmakers will have to look for another younger actor to star in his place,” said a source, according to DNA.

Arjun Kapoor was also cast in the film before Malhotra but wasn’t able to fulfil the role either. Makers are now on the lookout for a male lead.
