Sidharth Malhotra & Alia Bhatt to play siblings in ‘Kapoor & Sons’?

The alleged real-life couple Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt have not been cast opposite each other since their debut in Karan Johar’s ‘Student of the Year’ (2012) so news of them being cast in Dharma Productions’ ‘Kapoor & Sons’ has naturally created excitement amongst��their fans. ��However, the latest news doing the rounds is that Malhotra and Bhatt will be playing siblings in the film.

“Rishi (Kapoor) plays the grandfather. ��Sidharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt and Fawad Khan play Rishi’s grandchildren. ��The very important roles of Rishi’s son and daughter-in-law are yet to be cast,” a source informed DNA India.

‘Kapoor & Sons’ is expected to go on floors from June this year. ��The film will be directed by Shakun Batra, who previously directed ‘Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu’ (2012), as well as All India Bakchod’s ‘Genius of the Year’ featuring Alia Bhatt.
