Sidharth-Katrina shoot 90s Punjabi pop song for ‘Baar Baar Dekho’

Sidharth Malhotra and Katrina Kaif are going to be seen together for the first time in Nitya Mehra directed ‘Baar Baar Dekho’. BizAsia has learnt that the duo have recently shot for a modern-day version of a Punjabi song which was popular back in the 90s.

The song, which is a new version of Amar Arshi’s ‘Tenu Kala Chashma Jajta Ve’, will form part of a wedding sequence in the film. A source told Mumbai Mirror, “It is now a racy club track. Katrina will be in a heavy lehenga and Sidharth in a sherwani with 50 back-up dancers”.��Bosco-Caesar are choreographing the song which will also feature Raj Kapoor and Annu Kapoor.

The film has been shot in Scotland and is currently in its Mumbai schedule. “There are a lot of intimate scenes between Kat and Sidharth. Their honeymoon sequence will be filmed in Pattaya, ” added the source.

The film is an Excel Entertainment production.
