Sidharth-Jacqueline’s flashback to the swinging 70s

There were earlier reports that the makers of the Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez movie, ‘A Gentleman’, were waiting for Malhotra to grow his hair as he had chopped it short for ‘Ittefaq.’ before shooting a special song. Rumours were also circulating that the team were in talks with Badshah with the idea to recreate his old hit ‘Bandook.’

However, with what seems to be a sudden change in plan, reports read that the song will now be a retro track and won’t feature the rapper. It will instead be focused on the lead pair in the first week of July, reports Times of India.

Bosco Martis has come on board as the choreographer and rehearsals will kick off towards the end of the month once Malhotra completes his on-going schedule of Neeraj Panday’s action-thriller ‘Aiyaary’ and Fernandez gets some time off from Sajid Nadiadwala’s twin comedy ‘Judwaa 2.’

The song, set in the seventies in the Hollywood retro genre, will see the leading pair styled like the stars of the time. The action-comedy, directed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, also features Suneil Shetty and Darshan Kumar.
