Siddharth Shukla to get fee hike after ‘Bigg Boss 13’ extension?

It was recently announced that the ‘Bigg Boss’ 13’s finale will now take place in February 2020 due to its popularity. And whilst all the contestants rejoiced the moment, Siddharth Shukla appeared a little upset. Since the announcement, rumours began circulating that he is not happy with staying in the house for longer than his contract. However, the makers have come up with a solution.

Instead of the finale taking place in the first week of January 2020, the show has been extended for five weeks and it will end on 15th February 2020, reports Spotboye. In regards to the unhappy star, it is being reported that the makers have increased Shukla’s fee.

Shukla had signed a contract with the makers which binds him to be with the show till 12th January. He supposedly had a word with the team of ‘Bigg Boss,’ who then increased his fee to keep him in the show. Shukla reportedly gets Rs 9 lakhs per week, and now, for the extended period, he’ll receive more.

The makers are keen to keep him in the show as he is one of the strongest contestants. His popularity among fans and his game inside the house is one of the major reasons why this season of ‘Bigg Boss’ is so popular. He is considered to be one of the top finalists of the show and even Salman Khan has expressed his fondness of him.
