TV actor Siddharth Shukla is all set to make his big screen debut in the forthcoming Karan Johar production ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’. No doubt the two must have hit it off during last year’s ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ when Shukla was a contestant and Johar was a panel judge. Shukla, in a recent interview, has compared the filmmaker to the new Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
“Karan Johar calling you was a big thing and the first time he called me, I couldn’t believe it. He is very grounded and is so real. From the outside when you see him, you feel that he is this huge mountain, but actually he is such a plateau and is so easy to talk to…Karan Johar is like Narendra Modi in my life because I feelab achche din aane waale hain,” said Shukla, according to TOI.
News is that Shukla has signed a three-film deal with Dharma Productions so his entry into Bollywood is very much set.
‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’ is slated for release on 11th July.
