ThoughSiddharth Mallya has been making headlines for many years, he has only recently taken toacting withQaushiq Mukherjee’s (also known as Q’s) film ‘Bhraman Naman’. The film premiered at the 2016Sundance Film Festival. Mallya says that he signed the film because of a Hindi cuss word.

Mumbai Mirror reports Mallya saying, “I did an online search on Q and the film that came up was G*ndu. It is one of the few cuss words I know in my limited Hindi vocabulary and I told myself that I had to get involved with someone who made a filmwith a title like that.”

Mukherjee also said, “Distribution for us in India has always been a problem. We’re hoping the film gets out because we need an American Pie, a film that challenges our social morality and fabric.”

‘Bhraman Naman’ first released on 24th January and is now all set to have a global release on Netflix.
