Siddharth Anand denies Hrithik was approached for ‘Rambo’

Siddharth Anand has denied rumours that Hrithik Roshan was the first choice for ‘Rambo’, which will star Tiger Shroff.

Talking to The Indian Express, Anand said, “I was certain I wanted a young boy for it. Tiger (we) felt (was) just a natural and apt choice for us. Fortunately, he loved it and came on board.”

He aded, “Hrithik and I were clear we wouldn’t do another remake immediately after Bang Bang! (the official adaptation of Knight and Day). We are working on multiple ideas.”

The poster of ‘Rambo’ was unveiled at the Cannes Film Festival this year, which has had rave reviews from fans of Shroff.
