‘Shuddhi’ indefinitely delayed?

Karan Johar created furore when he announced the new cast of ‘Shuddhi’ as Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt. However, reports recently have stated that the film could be shelved due to unknown reasons.

After so many changes in the cast, it seems that the film is facing indefinite delays. The exact reasons for the delay are unknown and the makers would apparently be the best to divulge, according to TOI.

When talking at a recent press conference, Johar said, “Shhuddhi has already completed three years in the making. It has crossed the making of Baahubali without being made. It’s a new kind of history. I will discuss Shhuddhi when I have something to show”.

The film was originally meant to star Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor Khan. Salman Khan then replaced Roshan but since then it was Dhawan who was the finalised male lead.
