Shruti Hassan on battling alcohol addiction

Shruti Hassan has revealed the extent of her alcohol addiction, which had consumed her life, causing her to become ill and lose movie roles.

The South Indian movie actress spoke about this difficult topic whilst appearing on Lakhsmi Prasanna’s ‘Feet Up With Stars’, where she touched on how she had been caught in the vice-grip of excessive whiskey consumption. This had caused Hassan to take a long break from acting; thankfully, though, she has now ditched the habit over the past year, in which became severely ill as a symptom of her addiction.
