Shruti Haasan sings for sister in ‘Shamitabh’

Shruti Haasan is turning playback singer for sister Akshara Haasan, who makes her debut in ‘Shamitabh’ next month.

Shruti was last heard in two songs in ‘Tevar’, which proved huge chartbusters. Now, Shruti will be crooning to ‘Sannata’ for Akshara in the film. The song will be officially launched soon, however it is already available on download sites and Internet jukeboxes.

Indian Express reports that the song is very different from ‘Joganiyan’. It is composed by Ilaiyaraaja. The lyrics features names of various contemporary singers, lyricists actors and musicians.

‘Shamitabh’ also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Dhanush. It releases on 6th February 2015.
