With rumours of Amar Kaushik’s ‘Chor Nikalke Bhaaga’ being shelved, its been revealed that the project could be revived with Shraddha Kapoor as the leading star.
According to DNA India, the film was initially set to star John Abraham and Rajkummar Rao as the leading pair but the film got sidelined after Kaushik got busy with ‘Stree’. Now with ‘Stree’ set for release this week, it is being reported that Kapoor may be working with Kaushik again.
Kaushik told DNA India, “It won’t be my immediate next. Raj is the only person who has been retained because he liked the story and is keen on doing it. Also, after working with him on Stree, I have become quite comfortable with him.”
Kaushik also denied rumours of Tamannaah Bhatia being approached for the film. He said, “Tamannaah was never offered the film. We had John on board, but he isn’t doing the movie anymore. Initially, I had approached John for the main role but when he read the script, he wanted to do the other role (of a cop) and also wanted to produce it. That’s when Raj was roped in to play the lead.”
