Shraddha Kapoor suffers eye injury

Shraddha Kapoor has openly expressed her excitement on being part of the sequel to Excel Entertainment’s ‘Rock On’ (2008).�� The actress excitedly took to her Instagram account last week to post photos and videos of the beautiful locations in Shillong, where shooting for the film has begun.�� However, Kapoor soon suffered an eye injury which forced the actress to return to Mumbai for a check up and rest.

Confirming the news to DNA India, Kapoor said, “Something flew in to my eye and caused it immense pain. Once checked by an eye specialist in Shillong, we came to know that it had caused a scratch in my cornea, so it was an internal injury which needed extra care and attention. Luckily I wasn’t going to be filming for a few days so I was able to come back to Mumbai to get it checked up by my eye doctor.”

The actress is expected to return to Shillong soon to join the cast and crew for the schedule.

‘Rock On 2’ stars Kapoor alongside Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Kapoor, Purab Kohli and Prachi Desai.
