Shraddha Kapoor on looks tested for ‘Haseena Parkar’

Shraddha Kapoor put on weight for her role as Haseena Parkar in her biopic. The actress has recently revealed that there were a number of looks tests for the part.

“He (Apoorva Lakhia – director) has done lot of research on the film and it’s unbelievable. It’s a process and every single day we used to discuss how Haseena Parkar should come alive on the screen,” said Kapoor, according to Ahmedabad Mirror.

She went on to divulge, “He said to get into the skin of the character, it is important I look like her and so we tried out many things. I hope everyone enjoys when they see the film”.

Parkar herself passed away while the film was on the cards. The film is scheduled for release next month.
