Shraddha Kapoor gifts father a unique present

Veteran actor Shakti Kapoor has been one of the most versatile actors that the Indian film industry has to offer. One of his most celebrated characters being that of Crime Master Go-Go from the 1994 hit film ‘Andaz Apna Apna’. In light of this, his daughter Shraddha Kapoor has apparently paid homage to this character by presenting her father with a novelty gift inspired by the role.

According to The Indian Express Kapoor junior has gifted her doting dad with a mug that has the word ‘Release Go GO’ written across it. The report states that the actress has seen the mug whilst returning to India, when she saw a crowd of people buying film based merchandise.

The caption is in reference to Kapoor’s (Shakti) character Crime Master Go-Go being arrested at the end of the film. Starring Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Raveena Tandon and Karisma Kapoor, ‘Andaz Apna Apna’ was a late blockbuster climber. Having first released without a lot of attention, the film is now know as a cult classic.
