Shraddha Kapoor and Varun Dhawan will be working together for the first time in Remo D۪Souza۪s sequel to his last film ABCD۪ (2013). The star kids, who have grown up together, seem to be really fond of each other and Kapoor calls Dhawan a chirkut۪ (a derogatory Hindi term with many meanings such as stupid and miser), showing that the two must be quite close friends and on backslapping terms.

Varun and I are childhood friends. He is my chirkut. That۪s what I have been calling him since forever. I am just glad that I am working with someone I have grown up with. I know it۪s going to be insane fun,۝ the actress told Absolute India.

The duo have previously gone on record to say how they would do a lot of play-acting, pretending to be actors, as children when their father۪s, Shakti Kapoor and David Dhawan, worked together.

Currently, both Kapoor and Dhawan are on a high post the success of their respective last films: Ek Villain۪ (2014) and Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania۪ (2014).
