Shraddha Kapoor approached for ‘Half Girlfriend’?

Lately, it was being said that Kriti Sanon had been approached to play female lead in Mohit Suri’s directorial ‘Half Girlfriend’. Sanon also revealed that she was trying to work out her dates for the film. However, in the midst of all this, it’s now being said that Shraddha Kapoor is also in talks for the same role.

News has it that Kapoor has already starred in ‘Ek Villain’ (2014) which puts her in a good place both with Suri and also producer Ekta Kapoor. Kapoor hasn’t yet made up her mind as to if she’s able to or wants to do the role but it seems Sanon is definitely not the only one being considered.

Sushant Singh Rajput opted out of the film due to date issues and it emerged that Arjun Kapoor is his likely replacement.

The film will be an on-screen adaptation of Chetan Bhagat’s novel of the same name.
