‘Short Kut’ to make quick TV premiere on MAX

Anil Kapoor’s second production, ‘Short Kut’, which released and bombed at the box office only a few weeks ago, will make its quick TV premiere on MAX this week.

The comedy starring Akshaye Khanna, Amrita Rao and Arshad Warsi opened up at cinemas worldwide in July and will now be shown on MAX – one of the quickest straight from theatre to TV premieres.

On occasions, TV networks negotiate with film producers/distributors on how soon acquired movies can be broadcast on their channel after its verdict at the box office. It looks like MAX wanted to get in quick with ‘Short Kut’ to ensure some value retained for viewer interest.

‘Short Kut’ will be shown this Sunday at 20:00 on MAX.
