Shoojit Sircar’s football film on hold?

John Abraham was all set to star in Shoojit Sircar�۪s next, a football film titled ��1911�۪. However, the project has apparently stalled and is expected to move until next year.

A source told Mid-Day, ���The producers had planned to start the film in the latter half of 2015. But since it is a period film on Mohun Bagan�۪s historic win against an English football club in ‘1911’, a lot of VFX will be involved�۝.

Abraham is going to be playing the character of Shiv Das Bhaduri in the film which will also star Ayushmann Khurrana.

Sircar is cuirrently busy with his film ��Piku�۪ which stars Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan.
