Popular television actor, Shoaib Ibrahim has opened up about his plans against leaving his show ‘Ajooni’ on Star Bharat.
Ibrahim, who is married to Dipika Kakkar, recently became parents to a baby boy. But due to the premature delivery, he is being kept in ICU for observation.
In the couple’s latest vlog, Ibrahim revealed that he was planning to leave ‘Ajooni’ to spend time with his wife and new arrival. He had given a two-month notice in May, so he could wrap up his shoot in July – timing it to coincide with the original baby due date. He had requested his character Rajveer Bagga to be written out. However, due to the baby arriving early (21st June 2023), his plans have changed.
While, he had still had his heart to leave the show, he said the producers, Frames Productions swayed his decision after their heartwarming message. He said that they will respect his personal time and work around his schedule as they did not want him to leave. They branded it “their contribution to his new found fatherhood” lifestyle. In the vlog, he said he was touched by the gesture and because of that he will remain on the show.
