Shivani Dave to present weekend show on Virgin Radio Chilled

Virgin Radio Pride UK’s host Shivani Dave, has been confirmed to present a new weekend show on Virgin Radio Chilled UK.

Dave joined the Virgin Radio team in summer 2021 to front the network’s LGBTQ radio station, Virgin Radio Pride. It returns later this year.

Dave will present a weekend slot between 12:00 – 16:00 on Virgin Radio Chilled UK.

Dave, whose previous work includes projects on the BBC, The Guardian, Gaydio and more, is continuing the important conversations about LGBTQ+ life that began on the station. Shivani has been a regular cover presenter – or supply teacher – on Virgin Radio Chilled UK.

Shivani Dave said: “I am so excited to be a fully-fledged presenter on Virgin Radio Chilled UK. I usually joke with the listeners that I am their supply teacher, so I really hope this means I don’t have to start marking homework! In all seriousness, I can’t wait to spend my weekends kicking back with the loveliest listeners and playing the most chilled out tracks.”
