Shivangi Joshi on her Cannes 2020 debut & launching YouTube channel

Shivangi Joshi is spending her current break from work with her family in Dehradun, but she has big plans once things settle, including her Cannes debut and her own YouTube channel.

Joshi shared these updates in an interview with Pinkvilla, “Main yeh cheez kaafi time se plan kar rahi hoon par woh ho nahi paa raha hai. Pehle time nahi hota tha. [I have been planning this for a long time, but it never ends up happening. Before, I didn’t have the time.] Now I have the time but there are so many restrictions that you can’t go out and you can’t this or that. Even if you want to do something you don’t have enough resources for that. There are so many restrictions right now, so I’m waiting for this lockdown to get over and then definitely super soon I will make my own YouTube channel.”

Discussing the postponement and potential cancellation of the Cannes Film Festival this year, she said, “As of now, safety and security is the most important thing and nothing is beyond that. Honestly, right now I’m just waiting for this lockdown to get over and life to get back to normal. That’s it, I’m not thinking anything beyond that. And we can talk about Cannes post that.”

Joshi and Mohsin Khan have recorded some special segments for fans of ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ from their own homes, which will be aired on Star Plus.
