Shirley Setia on feeling “blessed” ahead of her acting debut in ‘Nikamma’

She shot to fame when she won a singing competition hosted by T-Series, after which her popularity continued through her YouTube channel. Shirley Setia has now bagged her first Bollywood acting debut, however where people are now saying she’s made it, the young star believes she has yet to learn so much more.

“There’s so much to do and explore in life. I am glad that Indian industry accepted me and welcomed with open arms,” New Indian Express reports Setia expressing.

She went on to add, “I agree it was not easy for me to become an online sensation…there was a lot of hardwork involved, but still there is a long way to go. I have so much to learn and experience. My real journey has just started.”

Having been signed for Sabbir Khan’s ‘Nikamma’, Setia went on to talk about her experience with working with Shilpa Shetty Kundra. “You know it feels blessed to work with such talented artistes. Shilpa ma’am made me comfortable a lot. She taught me so many things — especially how to remain fit. I am really excited for my debut film,” Setia expressed.

Also starring Abhimanyu Dassani, ‘Nikamma’ is set to hot the big screens on 5th June.
