Shirish Kunder not comfortable with Farah Khan’s on-screen romance

When it was first reported that Farah Khan is taking on acting as the lead female role, Bollywood fanatics were stunned and all in anticipation for how this will be possible. As the trailers of the film ‘Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi’ have had good reviews, and people are still waiting in anticipation for the release, ��there is one person in particular who is not looking forward to it.

Apparently Khan’s husband Shirish Kunder isn’t quite comfortable seeing his wife romancing another man, even if it is just acting.�ʉ��He is not someone who would like seeing his wife holding someone else�۪s hand, and I am not pushing him for that either,�۝ Hindustan Times reported Khan stating, which means he may not even go and watch the film.

If this isn’t enough to raise a few eyebrows, then what’s more is, it was Kunder himself who urged his wife to take on the acting opportunity in the first place. Choreographer-turner-film maker Khan adds “When they (the filmmakers) approached me, I thought it was for a dance sequence, but I was stunned to hear that they wanted me for the female lead. I almost rejected the offer, but Shirish said if I did it well, it would be another feather in my cap.”

‘Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi’ will see Khan sharing the screen opposite comedy actor Boman Irani. Directed by Bela Bhansali Sehgal, the film is due for release in August.
