Shilpa Shetty survives ‘Big Brother’ axe

Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty is staying in the ‘Big Brother’ house for a little while longer, after she survived a surprise eviction.

Shilpa was put up for eviction automatically by ‘Big Brother’ when she opted to stay in the main house for the group’s last task. As well as Shilpa, Ken Russell (walked out of the show earlier this week), Jermaine Jackson and the Goody Family were facing the boot.

Jackiey, Jade’s mum, was the first evicted celebrity of the series. She received only 4.6% of votes from the public.

Jackiey’s ‘chalk and cheese’ relationship with Shilpa brought verbal fireworks to the House as they argued over a variety of matters, not least the pronunciation of the Bollywood star’s name.

Full of energy and always up for a laugh, her bedroom flatulence was the stuff of legend and often had her housemates in stitches, amidst the coughing.
