Shilpa Shetty Kundra to join cast of ‘Hungama 2’?

Over the past few days, there has been much news about the sequel to the 2003 comedy hit ‘Hungama’, which will see the return of filmmaker Priyadarshan.

With Meezan Jaffrey already confirmed as the lead actor, it has been revealed that Shilpa Shetty Kundra has joined the cast. However, a hunt for the female lead is still on.

A source told The Asian Age, “Shilpa has been reading scripts and she was kicked about Hungama 2. She has really liked the idea, and she may take up this project.”

From the original cast, only Paresh Rawal and Shakti Kapoor have been confirmed to return for ‘Hungama 2’. Akshaye Khanna and Rimi Sen will be replaced with newbies.
