Shekhar Ravjiani “willing to wait” for next film

Music composer and singer Shekhar Ravjiani made his on-screen acting debut with Sonam Kapoor starrer ��Neerja�۪ (2016). He received much praise from the audiences as well as from his industry friends. However, he is in no rush to sign his second film as yet.

In an interview with Filmfare, Ravjiani divulged, ���I don�۪t want to rush things. I don�۪t want to do just another film but something concrete, something meaningful. I�۪m willing to wait for that�۝.

He played Neerja Bhanot�۪s love interest Jaideep in the film and he was instantly popular with the females. He commented, ���Girls loved me in Neerja and wanted a boyfriend like Jaideep. This kind of attention is heady. I understood first-hand what Hrithik Roshan or Salman Khan must be experiencing through the years.�۝ His role, though brief, was impactful. He stands by his friend, director Ram Madhvani�۪s vision about Jaideep�۝.

Talking about the song, Gehra Ishq, which he also leant his vocals to, Ravjiani added, ���I don�۪t sing much for other music directors but since Ram and Vishal, who have been creating great music for ads all these years, are friends I sang it. It�۪s got a nice romantic feel and Prasoon�۪s words captured the mood superbly�۝.
