Sheezan Khan opens up for first time since bail release: “I miss Tunisha”
After he was released on bail, Sheezan Khan has opened up about the ordeal he has faced after being arrested in the case linked to Tunisha Sharma’s death.
Khan was released from Thane Central Jail on Saturday, 70 days after he was arrested for the abetment to suicide in the Sharma’s death case.
Talking exclusively to Bombay Times, Khan said, “Today, I understand the true meaning of freedom and I can feel it. I was in tears the moment I saw my mother and sisters and I am so happy to be back with them.”
He added, “Finally, I am with my family! It’s an overwhelming feeling. All I want to do for a few days is lie in my mother’s lap, eat food cooked by her, and spend time with my sisters and brother.”
Khan and Sharma were in a relationship and split-up 15 days prior to her death. He further stated, “I miss her and if she was alive, she would have fought for me.”
Khan will be attending a court hearing on 9th March to quash the FIR against him.
