Shashanka Ghosh to remake Hollywood film ‘Begin Again’ in Hindi

A Hindi remake of Hollywood film ‘Begin Again’ (2013) is in the pipeline, helmed by T-Series and Abundantia Entertainment. The film will be directed by Shashanka Ghosh, who was behind ‘Veere Di Wedding’ last year. It will be developed by Arshad Syed.

‘Begin Again’ featured Keira Knightley and Mark Ruffalo. It is a musical story about a singer-songwriter.

Ghosh said, “We want to tell a story about the world of music and fresh voices in sound on the Indian scene. And through that, a take on urban relationships that don’t necessarily mean love and marriage and happily ever after. The worlds explored here are deeper than surface level – heart, hurt, passion, and above all – music.”
