It was reported some time ago that the soundtrack of ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ would be composed by the talented Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. However, BizAsiaLive.com has learnt that the trio have been replaced by Ajay-Atul.

Spotboye reports that the music directors had composed some songs for the album already. However, script changes meant that the trio were asked to rework some of their tracks. They couldn’t do this within the required timescale so the project was then given to Ajay-Atul. Shankar Mahadevan confirmed, “Yes, we were supposed to be a part of the project. But then there were a few changes in the script and which is why even the situations changed. We did not have enough time to make those amendments and thus we had to leave the project”.

The film stars Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Katrina Kaif.
