Shanaya Kapoor to make acting debut in ‘Student of the Year 3’
Shanaya Kapoor, the daughter of Sanjay and Maheep Kapoor, is set to make her acting debut in ‘Student of the Year 3’, the latest installment of Karan Johar’s popular youth-centric franchise.
Unlike its film predecessors, this new chapter will take the form of a six-episode web series, with production scheduled to begin on 20th April 2025.
Directed by Reema Maya, known for her short film ‘Nocturnal Burger’ (2023), ‘SOTY 3’ marks her debut in long-form fiction. The series is expected to stream on JioHotstar and is already generating attention for its rumored twist — a potential double role for Kapoor.
