Shamita Shetty to make comeback in web series

Last seen dancing on a dance reality show, Shetty is ready to face the camera again. The star is making her step into the digital world with an upcoming web show.

On Wednesday, Shetty tweeted, “Doing what I love best,” whilst using the hashtags, “shootlife” and “new beginnings.” Sources reveal she will be seen in a never-before-seen avatar in the web series, a comic thriller, being produced by Viacom, reports Mid Day.

Confirming the development, a source close to her says, “When the makers discussed the concept and her character sketch with her, she instantly agreed to be part of it. Earlier this week, Shamita started attending workshops to prep for her role.”

Shetty had made her Bollywood debut alongside Shah Rukh Khan in ‘Mohabbatein’ (2000).
