Shamita Shetty hoping to make Bollywood comeback after ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’

Shamita Shetty’s last acting stint in Bollywood was Anubhav Sinha’s ‘Cash’ (2007). ��The actress, who was launched by Aditya Chopra, had taken time out from her acting career to shift focus onto interior designing. ��She will now be seen in the coming season of ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ but hopes that she gets good movie offers through her time on the dance reality show.

TNN�� quote the actress as saying,��”I am looking to do something that challenges me as an actor… I am open to doing everything. I don’t want to do a film where I am just a show piece…��I have barely done something in my career. I was happy with the work I did, but I was not happy with the amount of work that I did. I believe I deserve something better. People needed to see and recognise my talent, but I did not get an opportunity for that…��May be after this show (Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa), some offers might come my way.”

Shetty, who has previously participated in the popular reality show ‘Bigg Boss’, added that she is not interested in doing item songs in films.
