Shamita Shetty: “Haven’t yet had a chance to explore my talent”

Since her Bollywood debut in ‘Mohabbatein’ (2000), Shamita Shetty has been busy juggling reality shows, trying to show off her dancing prowess.

Reported in Box Office India, Shetty who hadn’t planned a career in acting, said it was all by chance that things panned out the way they have.  “I had not planned my career. Things just happened to work out this way. I got my first break in Mohabbatein. After that, I didn’t get any interesting offers, so I took a course in interior designing. But it’s an exciting time to work in films and television because a lot of quality work is being done. I haven’t yet had a chance to explore my talent.”

Shetty is currently reading a few scripts and has said she is keen to experiment with different types of genres and platforms, whether it’s in films, web series or television.
