Shalmali Kholgade feels rap songs are preferred by North Indians
Singer Shalmali Kholgade said that the advancement in the audience of rap songs is due to the fact that songs based on cars, girls and alcohol are preferred by North Indians.
Shalmali Kholgade has given hits like like ‘Pareshaan’, and ‘Balam Pichkari’, versatile feels the sudden growth in rap songs. She told IANS, “The content is only ‘gaadi, ladki’ (car and girls) and alcohol, of course. Yes, it is (about car, girls and alcohol) and I don’t know why��_ It’s all coming from north India and I think north Indian audience digs that kind of thing.”
