Shalini Kapoor on joining cast of ‘Chandrashekhar’

Shalini Kapoor who will be seen in Star Bharat’s ‘Chandrashekhar’ says she was her history teachers’ favourite student during academics.

“Its great to be part of historical shows. I believe history is said to be one of the durable subject. And at times kid ignores to study it. So such shows help in educating the young generation with entertainment. Educating every individual with our freedom fighter’s story is really important for a brighter tomorrow. I enjoyed history and was favourite of my history teacher during my academic. And now I’m a good history teacher for my daughter, Aadyya.”

Shalini who also features in ‘Prithvi Vallabh’ says playing the role of Vidyavati, will remain one of the special one.

“Vidyavati, was the reason behind Bhagat Singhs’ bravery. My role in the show is finite but is special. Because the charecter herself is a education for the viewers.”

Shalini is known for hit television shows like ‘Qubool Hai’, ‘Devo Ke Dev.. Mahadev’ and ‘Swaragini — Jodein Rishton Ke Sur’. The actress will also feature in upcoming Bollywood movie ‘Dhadak’.
