Shahid Kapoor was served a notice by The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) on 16th September after their insecticide team visited the ‘Jab We Met’ (2007) star’s home in Juhu and found mosquito breeding spots in his private swimming pool.BMC officials were apparently carrying out routine inspection in the Juhu Tara Road area. The team had to seek police assistance after they were initially denied entry to the actor۪s home and it was during their inspection that they found a large number of Aedes Aegypti mosquito breeding spots.

According toSpotboyE,in response to the action taken by BMC, Kapoor’s spokesperson said the following, “Shahid is concerned about the BMC۪s findings in his building and the locality. Especially so, with the presence of a newborn baby in the house. He is also thankful to the municipal corporation for the check-up that they conducted in the locality which is vulnerable during the rainy season and due to its proximity to the beach.”

The concern is certainly a very serious one, given that Kapoor’s former co-actor and popular superstar Vidya Balan, who lives a couple of floors above his ground floor flat, is unwell with dengue.
