Shahid Kapoor to take to teaching?

Having done a variety of roles, it’d be right to say that the more intense the character, the more Shahid Kapoor has received acclaim for his performance. So much so has been the impact of this that BizAsia has learnt that college authorities have approached the actor to teach.

Kapoor has been invited to conduct workshops. A source said to TOI, “Seeing the way Shahid prepared for and performed myriad characters like the twins in ‘Kaminey’, the disturbed Haider��in ‘Haider’ or the rock star Tommy Singh in ‘Udta Punjab’, the institutes’ authorities feel he will help the students learn more about the craft”.

“Even film institutes are keen that Shahid share his journey, preparation and experience of essaying such diverse characters. His lectures and workshop��session will be of great significance for aspiring actors,” concluded the insider.

Kapoor, it is thought, is yet to decide on whether he will take up the offers coming his way.
