Shahid Kapoor to start ‘Maha Kaminey’ after ‘Haider’

Shahid Kapoor saw much appreciation in 2009’s ‘Kaminey’. Directed by Vishal Bhardwaj and co-starring Priyanka Chopra, the film did well with the audiences and Kapoor was an award winner in many a ceremony. News has it that the sequel, titled ‘Maha Kaminey’, will commence after ‘Haider’.

Sources confirmed to Deccan Chronicle, “The sequel to Kaminey, ‘Maha Kaminey’ will be made. It will have Shahid in it. It will be more interesting.��But the work on this project will start after ‘Haider’ (another film of Bhardwaj)”.

A sequel has been on the cards for some time but it seems finally there has been some movement on it. No doubt the potential success of ‘Haider’, which also stars Kapoor, will see a path created for ‘Maha Kaminey’.
