Shahid Kapoor to star in Prabhudeva’s ‘Namak’

Not one to rest on past laurels, choreographer-turned-director, Prabhudeva, is ready for his next Bollywood outing. The ‘Rowdy Rathore’ (2012) director has signed Shahid Kapoor for his next film titled, ‘Namak’.

The film, like his previous ventures, ‘Wanted’ (2009) and ‘Rowdy Rathore’, will be a full on masala entertainer based on the Madhya Pradesh drug trade and will have see��Kapoor in an action avatar.

Prabhudeva zeroed in on Kapoor after seeing him in Vishal Bhardwaj’s ‘Kaminey’ (2009) and just recently��he choreographed��Kapoor at the IIFA 2012 awards in Singapore.

The female lead for ‘Namak’ has not yet been decided upon, but judging from Prabhudeva’s past blockbuster hits, the beauties of B-town will be queing up to star in this one.

‘Namak’ will be released 2013.
