Shahid Kapoor supports AR Rahman

Shahid Kapoor is not the first and definitely will not be the last actor to come out in support of music maestro AR Rahman, against the fatwa that has been issues against him due to his involvement in a film about Prophet Muhammed.

Kapoor spoke at a recent promotional event, according to Absolute India, “It is very important to be able to accept different point of views. If we get very restrictive in life, of what can and cannot be done, then you are creating situations for frustration. You are creating a situation where people are going to feel suppressed”.

He went on to say, “The fact is that we are all human and we should all be accepting more of creativity and I feel that people should be allowed to decide what is good and what is not, because we all are here for the audience”.
