Shahid Kapoor suggested ex-flame Kareena’s name for ‘Udta Punjab’

Actor Shahid Kapoor, who is often quizzed about re-uniting with ex-flame Kareena Kapoor Khan in ‘Udta Punjab’, recently said that he was the first to suggest Kapoor Khan’s name for the role.

Apparently irked with same questions over his re-union with Kareena, Shahid told IANS, “What are the questions I haven’t answered already? As an actor you have to find 20 different ways of answering the same questions. In fact, I was the first to suggest that Kareena was perfect for this role. I respect her as an actress. I’m happy she is living a good life. So am I.”

‘Udta Punjab’ will star Kapoor Khan opposite Punjabi star Diljit Dosanjh. The film��helmed by Abhishek Chaubey will go on floor by the end of February. The shooting locations have been finalized and the stars would soon be leaving for the venue.
