Shahid Kapoor shares top three films he’d like to show his children

Proud father of two, Shahid Kapoor has shared what films of his he would like to show his children Misha Kapoor and Zain Kapoor.

Reported on Times Now News, Kapoor who featured on Rajeev Masand and Anupama Chopra’s podcast, shared details of what his daughter likes to watch and what he would like to watch. “Only cartoons, nursery rhymes and all yaar. Something for her, some really great animation film or sound of music or something maybe, like you know West Side Story, which is exciting for her as a child to watch, because you know you like those kinds of things at that age. So I rediscover that with her you know, rather than giving us something I like really not my idea of watching a movie with my daughter or whatever she likes and learning to enjoy with her you know.”

In another interview, this time with B4U Entertainment, Kapoor named three of his films he would like to show his kids once they are older. “Haider for sure. Udta Punjab, once they are at an age where they can possibly watch it. Kaminey for sure. Padmaavat as a film, I would definitely say they should watch it because it’s an experience. But I am sure, by the time they are older they’ll be looking at them and saying, “Really, that’s all you could do at that time!” (laughs).

Though Kapoor kicked-started off the year on a high with ‘Padmaavat’ (2018), his most recent ‘Batti Gul Meter Chaalu’ (2018) didn’t quite make the same noise at the box office, receiving mixed reviews from critics.
