Shahid Kapoor says Misha is his cool-down mechanism

After playing a mighty role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmaavat’ (2018) the lead actors have gone through a mental journey. However, as Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh may have sought help from counsellors, Shahid Kapoor managed to snap out of the phase with something different.

According to Pinkvilla, when Kapoor was asked by a weekly magazine about his cool-down mechanism, post ‘Padmaavat’, he replied, “My daughter Misha Kapoor.” He added, “I always say that there’s a big difference between a boy and a man. Today, I feel much more of a man. I am 36, married, with a daughter. I’ve been earning for myself since I was 16. I’ve found myself in many ways.”

Kapoor’s wife Mira was all praise for her husband as a father. She told a leading daily “Shahid’s relationship with Misha started right from the moment when he got to know that I was pregnant. Fatherhood comes naturally to him. He is fully involved and he changed her diaper even before I did. Shahid wants to be connected to her always and I think that’s great. Misha is going to have him wrapped around her little finger.”

Shree Narayan Singh’s ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’ is Kapoor’s next venture opposite Shraddha Kapoor and Yami Gautam, which is slated to release on 31st August.
