Shahid Kapoor reveals his worst time on sets was during ‘Shaandaar’

Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput, appeared as guests on the last episode of ‘Vogue BFFs’, hosted by Neha Dupia.

Reported on Pinkvilla, Kapoor was asked which movie set did he have the worst time on, and without hesitation shared it was ‘Shaandaar’ (2015), starring alongside Alia Bhatt. The film didn’t fare well at the box office, and on the topic of flops, Kapoor explains that this doesn’t stop him from taking other opportunities. “Everyone gets hurt if their films don’t work. We work hard to make a film and present it to the audience. It’s by us for them. And if they don’t like it, that’s the biggest loss. But I have learnt one thing in all these years from what I have done. That you should not lose out on opportunities because of your fears!”

Rajput then shared why she decided to kick her husband out of his own home, during the time he was shooting for ‘Padmaavat’ (2018). “He (Shahid) would come home at 8 AM and wake up at 2 PM in the afternoon. I completely get that he needs silence during those hours because it has been a tough night, but Misha is at her best at that point, wide awake and playful. Shahid wouldn’t say anything but I know it’s going to tire him and I know I can’t put too many restrictions on her either. That was getting to me at a point and that’s when I told him that I can’t take this anymore.”

The pair were also asked who was most boring person at parties, to which Rajput quipped it was Kapoor. When he rolled his eyes, she quickly added “Just kidding.”

Kapoor isn’t currently working on any projects at the moment, but there is chance that he and Imtiaz Ali will be collaborating once again.
