Shahid Kapoor replaces Imran Khan to star with Priyanka Chopra

Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra’s ‘Teri Meri Kahaani’ (2012) sparked off many link-up rumours. It seems the two will be sharing the screen again as Kapoor has been signed for Ekta Kapoor’s next opposite the ex Miss World.

Initially, Imran Khan was Ekta’s first choice for the role but he had to opt out of the venture possibly because he was eager to work with Vikramaditya Motwane in a superhero role. Khan’s dates were also proving a problem for the producers and therefore he took a step back and left the role open for another actor.

The movie will be directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia. It remains to be seen whether the same rumours and same chemistry comes to light again between Kapoor and Chopra.
