Shahid Kapoor ready for ‘Kaminey 2’

Shahid Kapoor, who is gearing up for his much awaited upcoming film ‘Haider’ this week, says he would be happy if Vishal Bhardwaj makes ‘Kaminey 2’ with him. The duo have been working together for ‘Haider’.

“I would be very happy if Kaminey 2 happens,” Kapoor told DNA.

There are reports that Kapoor has already been confirmed for second instalment. The actor has already won accolades for his performance in 2009 film ‘Kaminey’, in which he played a double role. “I had an amazing experience with Vishal sir working on Kaminey and now Haider. I just hope he casts me in his next film and I hope that this film is Kaminey 2,” he added.

“He has an amazing story and I think everyone should tell him to make it because he is difficult to convince. But he has a story and a romantic version of Dhan Te Nan also. I have been telling him he should do it, but he is a filmmaker and he has his own thoughts,” said the actor.

Also starring Shraddha Kapoor, ‘Haider’ is an adaptation of William Shakespeare’s Hamlet. The film is scheduled to release on 2nd October.
