Shahid Kapoor has pulled out of Maneesh Sharma’s next citing date problems.
Sharma who was behind the success of ‘Band Baaja Baraat’ (2010), was initially set to roll out the film with Kapoor in February but the director took ill and thus was delayed until September. However, it looks like the film will now go ahead without Sasha as the October start would have clashed with Kapoor’s other films.
Kapoor is working on four other prestigious projects, back to back. He will begin working on Rajkumar Santoshi’s ‘Phata Poster Nikla Hero’ with Ileana D’Cruz; Prabhudheva’s ‘Namak’ with Sonakshi Sinha and a film each with Bejoy Nambiar who earlier did ‘Shaitaan’ (2011) and Neeraj Panday, the director of ‘A Wednesday’ (2008).
According to Mid-Day, the decision between the two parties was amicable and the producers have understood the actor’s predicament. Furthermore, they have promised him another film next year when he is relatively more free.
